This tutorial shows how to manipulate the camera using a combination of keyboard and mouse, as well as how to manipulate the camera values directly.
These hotkeys are used to manipulate the camera while in navigation mode. | |
W | Moves the camera in forward direction |
S | Moves the camera in backward direction |
A | Moves the camera in left direction |
D | Moves the camera in right direction |
R | Moves the camera in up direction |
F | Moves the camera in down direction |
Q | Rolls the camera counter clock-wise |
E | Rolls the camera clock-wise |
By pressing and holding the left mouse button, the panning and tilting mode is entered. While in this mode, mouse movement is used to pan and tilt the camera.
When using the full tool, the settings tab on the right contains the current camera representation expressed as a position, forward, and up vector. Those values can be changed directly and are applied to the camera when the update camera button is pressed.
